Xiaomi Secret Codes & USSD Dial Codes (2026)

MIUI / HyperOS engineering codes

Xiaomi secret codes cover both MIUI and the newer HyperOS builds, and the ecosystem is unusually generous with engineering access. The central entry point is the CIT hardware test suite, which walks through the display, touch panel, speakers, receiver, microphones, vibration motor, proximity and light sensors, gyroscope, cameras, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and fingerprint reader in sequence, marking each subsystem pass or fail.

Alongside CIT, Xiaomi keeps standard Android diagnostic strings for battery and usage statistics, plus firmware and hardware version screens that tell you the exact ROM channel your device is running. That is useful before an update, a region switch or a bootloader unlock request, because Xiaomi's global, EEA, Indian and Chinese builds behave differently.

One warning specific to Xiaomi: several engineering menus on older MIUI versions expose write operations for the modem and calibration data. Reading values is harmless, but committing changes in those screens can degrade cellular performance in a way that only a full flash will repair. Stick to the codes marked safe on this page unless you are following manufacturer service documentation.

How to use Xiaomi codes

  1. Open the Xiaomi dialer and go to the keypad, exactly as if you were dialling a number.
  2. Type the code precisely as shown, including the leading * and the trailing #. Autocorrect and paste can drop characters, so type it out.
  3. Most sequences fire the moment the final character is entered — you usually do not press call.
  4. If the screen does not change, press the call button once; a few USSD strings need it.
  5. Back up photos, messages and app data before running anything marked destructive, then confirm you are on the right device.
  6. Nothing at all happening usually means the code is disabled on your firmware or blocked by your carrier — it is not a fault with your handset.

Xiaomi secret codes — FAQ

Usar esses códigos anula a garantia do meu Xiaomi?
