Vivo Secret Codes & USSD Dial Codes (2026)
Funtouch / OriginOS codes
Vivo secret codes work across both Funtouch OS and OriginOS and lead to a factory test menu covering the display, multi-touch tracking, speakers, receiver, microphones, cameras, vibration motor, proximity and light sensors, gyroscope and fingerprint reader. Each test reports a clear pass or fail, which makes the menu genuinely useful when you are buying a used handset.
A quick pre-purchase routine on any Vivo device is to dial the hardware test, run the display and multi-touch checks first, then the audio loop, then the sensors. Five minutes of testing catches the faults that are expensive to fix later, and the results are far more reliable than a visual inspection.
Vivo devices also respond to universal GSM interrogation strings such as IMEI display and call-forwarding status. As always, treat reset codes as live commands: on most Vivo firmware the wipe begins the instant the sequence is accepted, without a confirmation prompt, so take a backup before you go anywhere near that category.

How to use Vivo codes
- Open the Vivo dialer and go to the keypad, exactly as if you were dialling a number.
- Type the code precisely as shown, including the leading
*and the trailing#. Autocorrect and paste can drop characters, so type it out. - Most sequences fire the moment the final character is entered — you usually do not press call.
- If the screen does not change, press the call button once; a few USSD strings need it.
- Back up photos, messages and app data before running anything marked destructive, then confirm you are on the right device.
- Nothing at all happening usually means the code is disabled on your firmware or blocked by your carrier — it is not a fault with your handset.
Vivo secret codes — FAQ
